A very special gig in memory of our sadly departed friend Nick who left us 18 months ago. From the very early days of us hosting live music at The District we’ve had a special relationship with many of the outstanding bands based in and around Merthyr. In recognition of the esteem in which Nick was held they have put together an incredible line-up of bands for a special one-off gig featuring the cream of Merthyr’s talent, with all proceeds going to Velindre Hospital. Nicky was one of the least sentiment individuals around but we're sure that he'd be touched and honoured by this gesture of respect from our friends in the Merthyr music community.
